November 4, 2026 – November 8, 2026
The Malta Book Festival returns to the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC) in Ta’ Qali for its 47th edition, running from 4th to 8th November under the theme ‘Uncover the Story’. Organised by the National Book Council, it’s the foremost book celebration in the country’s cultural calendar, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year with dozens of exhibitors and over 100 programmed events for readers of all ages. Expect workshops, author talks and family activities throughout the week, including appearances from international guest authors.
Attendance to the Festival and all of its events is completely free of charge, and primary and secondary school students are eligible for a €20 book voucher redeemable at the Festival. A great multi-day outing for book-loving families, with something suitable for toddlers through to teens across the programme.
