Il-Ballut ta’ Marsaxlokk is a saltmarsh situated in the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk. The area is well-known among locals for its rich biodiversity, particularly during the wet season and periods of bird migration. Nearby, there is a small sandy beach that has recently been refurbished. Public parking is available just a short distance from the beach.
A variety of food and drink options, including several restaurants and kiosks, can be found a short walk away and in the village centre of Marsaxlokk. There are no restrooms on the beach itself.
