Ġnejna is not only great for swimming but is also gaining popularity for watersports. During the summer months, kayak rentals are available, together with umbrella rentals.
The beach is easily accessible by car, and swimming is generally safe. However, always check for red flags, which indicate rough sea conditions. Also note that the seashore can be quite rocky so bring along a pair of aquashoes, especially for the kids.
There are a few kiosks close to the bay offering food and beverage items, and public toilets. Parking can sometimes be a challenge so get there early.
