The Green Living Malta program focuses on getting children and adults back to nature through hands-on, experiential learning in a natural estate setting in Mġarr, drawing inspiration from Montessori and Waldorf Steiner educational philosophies.

The available programs, categorized by age, are:

The Afternoon Kids Club offers children a peaceful outdoor retreat to unwind after school. It features a rich program of creative and educational activities centered on nature and free play, with the daily goal of fostering environmental appreciation. The program promotes essential skills such as teamwork and mutual respect, while also offering agricultural learning experiences to explain the symbiotic relationship between people and the land. Workshops include a Homework Club, alongside specialized sessions in Gardening, Life Skills, Cookery, Woodcraft, up-cycling, Benefits of herbs, Fitness, Dance, and Music.

Seasonal Kids Club All ages Period: Open on all school holidays (including mid-term)

Open:    9am to 2pm

Duration:  Minimum 4 hours

Seasonal Kids Clubs are organized for all ages during all school holidays: Carnival, Easter, Summer, Halloween, and Christmas. Every day offers new nature adventures filled with hands-on experiences, traditional activities, and crafts inspired by the specific season. The programs introduce unique themes to encourage curiosity, discovery, and exploration in the natural environment.

Summer Kids Club All ages Period: Open on all school holidays (including mid-term)

Open:    9am to 2pm

Duration:  Minimum 4 hours

The Green Living Summer Club is a program designed to get children outside and connect them with nature. The camp takes place entirely outdoors, utilizing the shade provided by majestic trees and installed structures. This commitment to real nature is the motivation behind the club’s mission: to encourage kids to connect with their “wild selves” and investigate the natural world. The program runs from the first week of July to the second week of September, operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
