Level Academy is an innovative educational academy in Malta focused on gaming, esports, digital skills, and youth development. It offers structured programmes that combine technology, teamwork, strategy, and personal growth in a supervised learning environment for children and teenagers.

Known as one of Malta’s first dedicated esports academies, Level Academy provides workshops, coaching sessions, tournaments, and school holiday programmes that encourage responsible gaming, communication skills, and creative thinking. It is ideal for young people interested in gaming, technology, and future digital careers.

Based on their current programming—specifically the “Inside Out” Summer Camp and their core training modules—the age groups are typically structured as follows:

1. The Core Age Bracket (Ages 6 – 16)

Most of Level Academy’s primary courses and summer programs are aimed at this range, but they are often split into two sub-groups to ensure fair competition and age-appropriate learning.

2. The “Inside Out” Program Structure

This is a Summer Programme for children aged 6-16 years. It is built on three pillars that apply regardless of age:

  • Esports Athlete Training: In-game coaching and strategy.

  • Game Creation: Teaching the “behind the scenes” (coding, design).

  • Outdoor Physical Activities: A mandatory part of their curriculum to ensure students aren’t just sitting in front of a screen (promoting a healthy lifestyle).

3. Open Age / Competitive (Ages 16+)

For their Tournaments and League of Legends LANs, the age groups often shift:

  • While younger students can participate in some events, the “Elite” or “Pro” level tournaments often target 16+ or even 18+ depending on the specific game’s age rating (PEGI ratings).
