The Malta Aviation Museum, located in the former RAF aerodrome hangars at Ta’ Qali, is a voluntary, non-profit museum dedicated to acquiring, restoring, and preserving Malta’s rich aviation heritage. Spanning across three distinct hangars, the museum showcases approximately 18 aircraft alongside aviation engines, airfield equipment, vintage uniforms, aircraft models, and operational documentation. Its collection heavily features items from World War II—including legendary aircraft like the Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane—as well as machinery and helicopters from the post-war era.

The museum is highly family-friendly and is an excellent destination for children who are fascinated by history and flight.
