The Malta Baseball and Softball Association (MABS) are the national governing body, they function through several local clubs that offer structured youth programs.
Age Groups & Structure
MABS provides activities for children starting from a very young age, primarily organized through their youth academies (like the Pat Pace Baseball Academy).

Tee-Ball / Rookies (Ages 4–8): Focuses on basic coordination, hitting from a tee, and having fun in a team setting.

Youth / U13 (Ages 9–13): More technical training, introduction to competitive games, and participation in the National Baseball League.

Teens & Adults: They have active leagues for Fastpitch and Slowpitch softball as well as traditional baseball.
