MiniPad – Climbing Area For Kids
MiniPad is a dedicated 350-square-metre climbing area designed specifically for children, in a separate area from where adults climb at the Crashpad rock climbing facility. Safety and fun are paramount, creating a space where kids can explore the joy of climbing in a secure environment. Appropriate age 5+ years.
MiniPad is designed to introduce climbing to the next generation of potential climbers.
• Lower wall heights
The walls are designed to be lower than standard climbing walls, ensuring saftey for young climbers.
• Colorful and engaging routes
The routes are designed to be visually appealing and engaging for children, encouraging them to try new challenges.
• Supervision friendly
Parents are welcome to hang out and watch the fun from our viewing area. Just a heads-up: every kid needs a signed Agreement of Risk form from their parent or guardian before they can climb.
• Soft landing surfaces
Extra-thick padding provides a safe landing zone for even the most energetic young climbers.
Kids Clubs
Crashpad also runs several kids clubs which are held during the week or on Saturdays. These are designed to teach fundamental movement skills while introducing children to climbing in a safe, social environment under the guidance of qualified staff members.
Birthday Parties
Crashpad also caters for Birthday party events which consist of 2.5 hours in total, 1 hours of climbing, 1 hour of celebration and half an hour of warming up and orientation.

Yes, the area is a low height, with 40CM of high-quality specialised mats. Kids have to be supervised during climbing or will be under the supervision of a qualified member of staff.
