The Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC) Sailing School, located in Ta’ Xbiex, is one of the island’s premier institutions for maritime education.
Children’s Sailing Programmes & Pathway
The RMYC uses a “stepping stone” approach, where children move to more advanced boats as their confidence and physical size increase.

| Learn to Sail (Level 1) | 6–14 Years | RS Quest | The entry-level class. An instructor stays on the boat with a small group of kids to teach the basics (steering, wind direction, and safety). |

Summer & Winter Programmes: While the Summer School (July–September) is the most popular, the RMYC also runs a Winter Series and weekend training sessions for year-round development.
