Salina National Park, is a popular green space that offers a variety of amenities for visitors. It is recommended for its good accessibility (suitable for prams and wheelchairs), private parking (although it can get busy during the weekends so alternative street parking would need to be found), and abundance of seating and picnic tables, with many trees and paths offering shaded areas and views over the bay. It is a lovely place for a walk with children as the paths are very accessible although some are a bit rough.
The park also includes a large outdoor play area including a climbing house structure with slides suitable mainly for children aged 2 years and older. There is also ample space for younger children to walk about and play in the area.
A number of events are held here throughout the year.
Food and beverages can be bought from the restaurant on location – The Grove
