Young Engineers Malta is an interactive, enrichment program focused on teaching STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through hands-on building. Instead of computer screen programming, their main focus is on mechanical engineering and physics principles using customized motorized LEGO® bricks and structural kits.
They offer after-school programs, weekend workshops, and summer camps organized into two core age groups, with an introductory trial tier:

Age 5: Introductory Trial Tier

Children who are 5 years old are eligible to attend specially adapted trial sessions to test their spatial skills and readiness for the core curriculum.

Ages 6 – 10: Bricks Challenge

This is their introductory foundational track. Young learners build models like motorized spinning tops, conveyor belts, and fairground rides. The focus is on learning real-world mechanical terminology (such as “speed-increasing transmission” or “centrifugal force”) and basic physics through intuitive play.

Ages 8 – 12: Galileo Technic

An advanced track tailored for older children. It steps away from simple assembly to investigate complex machinery, mechanical efficiency, dual-gear mechanics, and troubleshooting. Students are tasked with identifying flaws in their mechanical builds and engineering solutions to fix them.
