ŻiguŻajg Art Jam Summer Bootcamp is a creative summer arts programme in Malta designed for children who want to explore visual art, creativity, and self-expression through hands-on workshops. The bootcamp is part of the ŻiguŻajg arts programme, which promotes artistic learning experiences for young people through interactive activities, exhibitions, and guided sessions led by professional artists.

During the summer bootcamp, participants take part in a series of art workshops where they experiment with different techniques, learn about contemporary and historical artists, and create their own artworks. The programme usually runs over several weeks and ends with a final showcase or exhibition of the students’ work, helping children build confidence, imagination, and artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The summer bootcamp will be made up of 6 art workshops introducing contemporary art to children. Each workshop will tackle a different way of making and thinking art. Over the course of the 6 weeks we will create a body of work inspired by historical and contemporary, international and local artists, stories and our surroundings. Together as a group of little artists, we will then curate and exhibit our work in a final showcase at the end of the 6-week programme!

This programme is ideal for children aged 8+ years, interested in drawing, painting, crafts, and creative activities.
