Play & Parenting Tips is organising a Parent & Child Halloween Event at Second Chance Horse Rescue in Siggiewi, giving families the chance to spend a spooky-themed afternoon together among rescued horses. The session runs for two hours and includes a mix of seasonal, hands-on activities: Halloween-themed tuff trays, horse riding, a sulky ride, grooming and feeding the horses, and face painting. It’s designed as a shared parent-and-child experience rather than a drop-off activity. Second Chance Horse Rescue is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming retired racehorses, so the event also doubles as a gentle introduction to animal welfare and horse care for children. Priced at €25 for one adult and one child, with slots to be booked in advance via the organiser.
