Spazju Kreattiv is the flagship programme of Fondazzjoni Kreattività, established in 2000 to promote creativity and cultural engagement across Malta and Gozo. Based in the iconic St James Cavalier, a 16th-century fort transformed into the National Centre for Creativity, the space offers a dynamic mix of exhibitions, performances, films, and workshops.
Visitors can explore visual arts in dedicated gallery spaces, enjoy live theatre in a unique round setting, watch independent and international films at Malta’s only arthouse cinema, and take part in hands-on activities in the studios. The venue also runs an artist-in-residence programme and hosts specially curated events for children and families through its ŻiguŻajg strand.
